Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Showplain collects, why, and the choices you have. Showplain is built and run by Arjun On Demand (AODX), Hyderabad, Telangana, India, which is responsible for your data. Contact: hello@aodx.in or WhatsApp +91 80742 36482.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store your password itself.
- Your content: the videos you record or upload, thumbnails, transcripts, AI notes, and anything you add to share pages (text, images, logo, colours).
- Usage: how many times each video was viewed, and basic technical logs (IP address, browser, error reports) kept for security and for fixing problems.
- Billing: your plan, subscription status and the payment IDs Razorpay gives us. Card and bank details are entered in Razorpay's payment window and never reach our servers.
How we use it
- To run Showplain: store and play your videos, write transcripts and summaries, and show share pages to people with the link.
- To manage your plan and payments.
- To keep the service secure and to fix problems.
- To email you about your account, payments or important changes. We do not send marketing email without your permission.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your videos to train AI models.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts the app, stores videos and runs the AI that transcribes and summarises them.
- Razorpay processes payments.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on our pages, so your browser contacts Google's servers when pages load.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and storage
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. Your browser's local storage remembers small preferences such as your chosen camera and microphone. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep data
- Videos and notes stay until you delete them or your account is deleted.
- Free-plan share links stop working after 90 days, but the video stays in your library.
- When you delete a video it is removed from our storage straight away. It may remain in backups for up to 30 days.
- Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can see and delete your videos in the app at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it, email hello@aodx.in and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California or India), you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Showplain is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
